How to Die Cut Small Clamshell Shapes:
For best results, always cut this die with the fabric oriented on the lengthwise grain.
Start by cutting a 5" strip across the width of the fabric, then fanfold it into 4 7/8" sections. Place the folded fabric on the blade area and cut. You can cut eight clamshells across the width of the fabric. One yard of 40" wide fabric yields up to 56 clamshells.
